Al gauw sloten we vriendschap met de plaatselijke mussen.
Ze kwamen echt bij de deur om eten bedelen.
Soon we made friends with the local birds.

Deze beestjes zaten regelmatig bij en in onze caravan.
Eén van hen heeft zelfs in mijn haar een dutje gedaan.....

Dit is het plaatsje Chioggia. Ons vakantiepark ligt tegen deze vissersplaats aan.

Aan alles was dan ook duidelijk te zien dat het een haven- en vissersplaats is.

Twee vissersboten varen the haven binnen. Het is gelijk vol zeemeeuwen.

Souveniers waren er genoeg. There were plenty souvenirs
Op een dag stond er gedurende enkele uren een enorme wind langs de kust.
Heerlijk om even uit te waaien en mooie foto's te maken.
There was a hard wind blowing on the coast one of the days.
It was a great chance to make nice pictures.
Tja......het bloed kruipt waar het niet gaan kan.
Natuurlijk moesten we even iets achterlaten.
Well.... blood is thicker than water.
Offcourse we had to leave something behind.

We gaan naar de stad Ferrara en komen onderweg stalletjes tegen waar ze enorme pompoenen verkopen.

We waren even op terras gaan zitten recht tegenover de Kathedraal.
Opeens hoorden we een hoop kabaal en werd het erg druk.
Het bleek feest te zijn in Ferrara en een hele stoet mensen in historische kleding kwam voorbij.
We sat down on a terrace right across the Cathedral.
Suddenly we heard a lot of noise and the street was full of people.
It seems to be a special day in Ferrara and people in historical clothing were walking down the streets

We didn't go away every day offcourse. But we sure made a lot of fun together in our own mobil home.
Eric heeft een mooie pleister op mijn neus geplakt en er een poppetje op getekend.
Ik heb alleen dit flesje gedronken hoor en kijk gewoon scheel.....

We've also had a huge rainshower a few times. They didn't last long.

Het ligt in het Apennijnen gebergte.
Het staatje is slechts 61,2 vierkante kilometer groot en ingesloten door Italië.
Er staan 3 kastelen op de berg Titano, gebouwd op de richels (701 meter)

Tja......voor je het weet zit de vakantie er weer op en moet je weer naar huis.
Nog één keer naar het strand en dan volgt de lange rit naar huis.
Well...before you know the holiday is over and you'll have to go home.
Just one more time to the beach and than the long drive back home.
De eerste dag rijden we door Italië, Oostenrijk en Duitsland.

Onderweg naar huis hebben we wat flinke buien regen gehad.
On the way home we had some heavy rain showers.
We rijden door de beroemde Brennerpas en over de Europabrug.
